Dr. Lamont J. Sessoms Jr. was born to Gracelia Fortune and Lamont Sessoms Sr. Dr. Sessoms was called and chosen by God at an early age. Being reared in the church by his Grandmother The Late and Great Mother Miranda Nemard and Aunt Evangelist Esther Webb. Dr. Sessoms received the gift of the Holy Ghost as recorded in Acts 2:4 and was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in Acts 2:38. His heart has always been to help people and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the Year of 1994, Dr. Sessoms was licensed to the gospel ministry. During his ministry, his Pastor felt he was ready for ordination. He was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s church in the year of 1999.
The Lord dealt with Dr. Sessoms for approximately 2 years about starting a church. On September 26, 2003, he birthed New Creation Deliverance Church International, One year later he was installed as Pastor and Overseer Under the Leadership Of Apostle Jeffrey K. Knight. After continuing in ministry The Lord spoke to Dr. Sessoms to relocate to the south. The Lord said (A people is waiting for you to Lead Them) Being obedient to the voice of God and Instruction for Dr. Sessoms He Birth Greater Destiny Christian Center which started as a prayer group ministry in a prostitute hotel Located in Charlotte N.C. The group would gather every Wednesday Evening at the hour 7 pm-8 pm and 12 am-1 am. Until the leadership of God from being a prayer to a worship center. They led Dr. Sessoms to relocate to Rock Hill, S.C., and then to their current Location Chester, S.C. In that city, the Lord continues to add to the church according to Acts 2. In the Year 2017, Dr. Sessoms was Consecrated to the office of Bishop and Affirmed to the office of Senior Apostle and Presiding Prelate. Dr. Sessoms birth United Global Fellowship Alliance a fellowship that builds Unity, Love, and Fellowship conception the lord continues to add to fellowship. In the year 2022, the Lord allows Greater Destiny Christian Center under his Leadership to propose 3 acres of Land to build the Lord a Temple! Dr. Sessoms always had a passion for outreach and Evangelism. He often says 1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of, woe unto me If preached not the gospel.
Dr. Sessoms had the opportunity to travel across the nation preaching and teaching the word of the Lord. He received his education from Lancaster Bible College, Philadelphia Biblical University, and Apex School of Theology where he received his Doctoral Degree in Youth and Christian ministries. Dr. Sessoms is also the author of 3 books! A Wounded Christian, Satan’s Last Stand, and In Jail In My Own Society. His Favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts I have toward you said the Lord.
